Begins the Wednesday after Mother’s Day.

By late spring, the farm is really starting to hum with life. The rows are overflowing with color, texture, and fragrance—every bed alive with the energy of the growing season.

This 4-week round celebrates that beautiful chaos. Bouquets are filled with a diverse mix of lush, premium blooms like tulips, lilacs, peonies, larkspur, anemones, double snapdragons, and more. Each week’s bouquet captures the shifting beauty of late spring—soft pastels giving way to richer hues as the fields evolve.

If weather or growing conditions ever prevent us from fulfilling your subscription for a week, we’ll extend your subscription so you still receive all four weeks of blooms.

If you have an emergency and can’t accept flowers during your subscription period, we’ll credit you for that week by issuing a store credit to use on anything from Mud Puppy.

Pottery Surface Design Workshop + Open House
🎨 Decorate, carve, and create a forever bouquet

This is more than a pottery class—it’s a full creative experience focused entirely on surface decoration.

No pottery experience needed. You won’t be throwing or shaping clay—we’re jumping straight into making the surface beautiful. I’ll guide you step by step, sharing my materials, techniques, and creative process.

Whether you're brand new to clay or already have some experience, this workshop is for anyone curious about surface design. You’ll learn how to work with color, pattern, and texture—and even though it’s beginner-friendly, you’ll be surprised by how much you learn about the exciting world of pottery.

You’ll decorate two pre-made pottery pieces (check out the photos):

• A small trinket dish to practice on

• A vase for your main project—a flask vase approximately 5” x 4.5”

What you’ll do:

• Learn my surface design process and how it has evolved over time

• Get tips and tricks for turning simple shapes into bold, eye-catching designs

• I’ll explain exactly what I use—from my favorite clay to underglazes, slips, resists, and essential tools—and where I source everything

• Learn how to layer colors and patterns to create a rich, blooming surface

• Finish with sgraffito—a clay carving technique that adds depth and contrast

• Enjoy snacks and a cocktail or mocktail while you create

After class:
I’ll take your pieces back to my studio, fire them—twice—for a smooth, lasting finish with a clear glaze.
